- No significant increase in laxity of left ankle compared to right side
- Pain at lateral aspect of left ankle with resisted inversion and eversion of left subtalar joint
- Peroneal circumduction
- No pain on palpation of left PTFL region
- No pain on palpation of left peroneal tendons along their course posterior to lateral malleolus
- Pain at dorsal midfoot of left foot with resisted plantarflexion and dorsiflexion of left ankle joint
- Negative midfoot stress abduction
- Thompson test
- Medial malleolus
- Lateral malleolus
- No pain on palpation of left lateral malleolus
- Motor to all digits intact
- Negative cotton's test, external rotation test of the ankle
There is normal postsurgical tenderness about the ankle circumferentially with normal tenderness over the medial and lateral malleolus, and over the anterior ankle capsule
There is normal postsurgical guarding on attempted passive ROM, particularly in extension.
The hardware is not prominent or palpable. Pratts sign is negative
